OUR BELIEFS

GOD

We believe there is one true God and that He reigns over all things. He is the creator of the universe and everything in it. He is a tribunal God and is 3 in 1, The Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Genesis 1:1, 26-27, Psalms 90:2, Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14

JESUS

Jesus is the son of God. He is one with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Jesus was born to a virgin, fully human and fully God. He lived a sinless life and died on the cross as the savior of the world and willingly gave his life to pay for our sin. He was buried for 3 days and raised from the grave and ascended into heaven. He defeated death so that we can have life and sits on the thrown at the right hand of God as our powerful King. We believe that Jesus Christ will return one day to unite believers with God to reign forever in His Glory. HOLY SPIRIT

We believe in the Holy Spirit and that the Holy Spirit is one with The Father and Jesus. We believe that those who accept Jesus Christ as their lord and savior will receive the Holy Spirit to live inside of them. The Holy Spirit is alive inside and serves as our guide and advocate. He comforts us, gives us our spiritual gifts, convicts us of our sin and makes us more aware of our need for Jesus Christ to make us more like him. SALVATION

Salvation is a free gift. It is not something that can be earned but was given to us from God by Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross and received through faith that is expressed through repentance of sin and baptism by immersion. It is a step of obedience based on God’s command and a way to publicly declare a new life through the power of the Holy Spirit. This free gift is available to everyone who accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. John 3:16, 14:6, Acts 4:12, Romans 5:1, 5:8-10, 6:23, 10:10, Ephesians 2:8-10

BIBLE

Our foundation is based on the Bible which is the living word of God. The Bible is God’s word to all people. The Bible was written by God’s people under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth of Christians belief about life. It is Truth without error given to man to know and understand the truth of God and His love for us. 2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21, Psalms 12:6, 119:105, Proverbs 30:5, Isaiah 55:11

CHURCH

We believe the church is the covenant community called by God through Jesus Christ to live a life of discipleship and witness as empowered by the Holy Spirit. We believe the mission of the church is to make disciples of all nations by calling people to repent, to be baptized, and to love God and love others. We believe the church is committed to the teachings of Jesus and His commands and seeks to bring the Gospel into the world and works in unity to ultimately glorify the name of Jesus. GOD WINS

We believe that one day Jesus will return in magnificent glory and will have the ultimate triumph over evil. We believe that nobody knows the day or the hour but when that day comes that we will all be united with Christ to reign forever with God. We believe that until we see that day that we need to stay ready. Revelations 19:1-21
