In 2023, Jodi took a leap of faith and started Shine IN which was inspired by the transformation she witnessed in her sister, Penny. After moving from Indiana to Arizona, Penny became deeply involved in Shine AZ and the change in her was undeniable. Curious and moved, Jodi reached out to Shine’s founder, Erin Bubb. From their very first conversation, Jodi knew this was something special. Erin’s heart for people, her passion for Jesus, and her vision for Shine resonated deeply with Jodi’s own calling. Looking back, it was clear—while Penny’s move to Arizona seemed uncertain at the time, God was already at work setting the stage for Shine IN to take root. Jodi has always had a heart for creating space where women can grow in their faith, build meaningful relationships, and center their lives around Jesus. As Erin often says, “We create space for God to move.” And that’s exactly what’s happening—God is moving in incredible ways through Shine IN.
